• SPEAKER_00: Did you make a phone call, Mickey?

• SPEAKER_00: And you think somebody's calling you.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Well, this is Alex Trebek, the host of Jeopardy, and my phone just rang.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And what I've discovered in recent months is that there is a group of individuals,
  
• SPEAKER_00: or maybe just one individual, who has developed a technique.
  
• SPEAKER_00: to get phones in different parts of America ringing at the same time without them having
  
• SPEAKER_00: made a call and just messing with us and with the system.
  
• SPEAKER_00: So it looks like this is another occasion of that.
  
• SPEAKER_00: I've had calls from butchers in Chicago telling me they were confirming my order, and I never made
  
• SPEAKER_00: an order, of course.
  
• SPEAKER_00: So where are you, Mickey?
  
• SPEAKER_01: I'm at home in Century City.
  
• SPEAKER_01: Century City.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay. Well, I'm in Studio City, California.
  
• SPEAKER_01: All right.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And I don't know.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Somebody's got a weird sense of humor, but that's all right.
  
• SPEAKER_00: There are yo-yo's out there in every part of our country.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And if we can ever catch us, sons of bitches, I would love to prosecute them and have somebody like Joe rule on it and just send them the slammer for a long time.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Let's hope so.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm sorry you got disturbed.

• SPEAKER_00: But I have one up on you in that I know because this has happened a number of times before.
  
• SPEAKER_00: I know what they're doing.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And you don't.
  
• SPEAKER_01: And if you know what they're doing, if you have another minute, what are they doing, what are they doing?
  
• SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  
• SPEAKER_01: What are they doing?
  
• SPEAKER_00: Well, they have a method of calling two different people at the same time.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And then we both get on the phone and we wonder, well.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Who placed the call?
  
• SPEAKER_00: Yeah, who just called me?
  
• SPEAKER_00: And you say, well, who called me?
  
• SPEAKER_00: And neither one of us called each other.
  
• SPEAKER_00: I had Jose Canseco, the former baseball star, talked to me not too long ago.
  
• SPEAKER_00: And he said, well, yeah, Alex, what do you want?
  
• SPEAKER_00: So somebody out there is screwing with us?
  
• SPEAKER_00: I think so.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Okay.
  
• SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm sorry.
  
• SPEAKER_00: we were both disturbed.
  
• SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, too.
